TAG Strategic’s Karen Allen featured as Digital Contributor to Magisto’s SXSW Video Diary

Whether or not you made it to SXSW 2013, digital options to engage with street-life, showcases and VIP events from afar reached an all time high. Magisto–a new mobile video editing app–automatically processes video clips with a song of your choice to create custom videos. This year, Magisto hand-selected a group of digital gurus as contributors for their first-ever SXSW Video Diary. Among ten selected, TAG Strategic’s very own VP Client Services Karen Allen hit the streets of SXSW to bring the excitement right to your screen.

“Dear Readers,

By all accounts SXSW was a great experience in 2013. I had the privilege of being a part of some late night events and dynamic projects there. From experiencing the great shows at Raptor House to checking out the start-up scene at Silicon Beach Showcase to chowing down on BBQ at the Iron Works, it was a week to be remembered. It’s impossible to see everything at SXSW and to that end, one industrious start up, Magisto (smart mobile video), corralled a group of forward thinking media and technology professionals to share their personal stories from SXSW. Using Magisto’s artificial intelligence and automated video tools, 10 individuals set out to tell a collective tale of music, film and technology. I was amongst this great group of digital do gooders and contributed to MAGISTO’s Video Diary of SXSW. Below are some of the videos posted to the project. Take a few minutes to experience SXSW through these 1 minute “masterpieces”. I think you’ll enjoy it!

Best regards,
