TAG provides expert strategy, guidance, market intelligence, product ideation, business modeling and business development services to multinational companies and select emerging businesses. TAG delivers market leadership and sustainable, defensible advantage in the dynamic and rapidly evolving global marketplace.

TAG Strategic is hiring a Director of Sales and Marketing for its Los Angeles headquarters. The position will report to the Managing Partner.

The Director of Sales and Marketing position involves:

– Manage sales process for finding new clients for TAG Strategic, from sourcing to closing
– Source potential new clients through online research, conferences, networking events, direct outreach, etc
– Meet with and vet potential clients, determine whether their goals and objectives are a good fit for TAG, draft proposals, and follow through to close
– Manage TAG’s co-marketing relationships with conferences, trade associations, and networking events
– Produce high-level, TAG-sponsored networking events, sometimes in association with clients
– Sectors of focus to include digital music, film, television, games, live entertainment, brands/agencies, and the VC/startup community


– 5 years experience in a sales and marketing position within digital entertainment with a proven track record of closing leads; this is not a “learn as you go” job
– A strong network of contacts within the digital entertainment industries including digital music, film, television, games, live entertainment, brands/agencies, VCs/startups, consumer electronics, and brands/agencies
– Expert with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; excellent presentation preparation skills
– Excellent research, writing, verbal communication, and follow through skills

– Resourceful, self-starter, quick thinker, efficient with your time
– Enjoy event planning and are detail-oriented
– Team player and enjoy a collaborative working environment
